More pics from Post's Pumpkin Pickin'

More pics from our GREAT Fall day at Post's with the Robbins!

Pumpkin Pickin'

Haans thought Post's Family Farm wouldn't be busy today since we've had SO many nice weekends weather-wise so far this Fall, ha! We had to park on the other side of the road (never even knew they had parking over on that side!). It actually didn't seem too bad once we started in on all the fun.
We meet the Robbins there (an annual tradition!) And enjoyed our hayride out to the pumpkin patch to purchase this year's craving pumpkin. The girls LOVED it- along with riding the pumpkin train, playing on the zipline & horse swings, feeding the goats and pony, and of course, eating those delicious glazed donuts!!

malificent

Beatrice is learning to write her letters in school. One day she was playing "Sleeping Beauty" and so I wrote Aurora and Philip's names down for her. Well, she wanted "Malificent" in the line-up so I told her to write it out. I spelled it out for her and viola! I think she did a great job!

Hiking up Mt.Pisgah

What a beautiful Fall day for a hike at the new nature preserve, Mt. Pisgah! Gorgeous views of Lake Mac and Lake MI with the sand dunes we used to run down as kids. The girls loved their nature walk- picking flowers and looking for "bears".

Crane's

Our Crane's adventure took place on a sunny, cooler Saturday. The girls enjoyed apple picking, riding on the "cow" train, drinking cider and eating donuts. We had a blast!

Ballet sisters

One day the girls mysteriously disappeared upstairs. Next thing I knew Bea had them both all pinked out in their ballet leotards, jewelry and lipstick. Perfect for a picture!

Crane's vs. Robinette's

It was a warm, sunny Fall day. We had to make the annual drive to Robinette's in GR with our cousies, Sarah and Rachel. There is always a debate which is the better apple orchard, Crane's (in Fennville) or Robinette's in (GR). Now we grew up going to Robinettes and Haans grew up going to Crane's; therefore, the debate. I personally like Crane's better b/c you can U-Pick apples whereas Robinette's you can not. Why go to an apple orchard if you can't pick apples?? Well, here we are having fun despite at Robinette's. Afterward we went to Vroegops to see the new kittens and to eat pizza, fun day!

More on the Bedrace

I must say these group of men are a crazy bunch! What fun they had constructing, racing and gloating about their winning bed in the Columbia Ave. Bedrace competition. Team Flavious Avius, the champions! This is probably the craziest thing Haans has done since highschool!
