The hammock
During naptime, I often hear little feet pattering on top the wood floor or toys banging against bed frames, but today was different, it was eerily quiet. I peeked into Bebe's room to see if all was ok and found my little lady curled up in her jerryrigged hammock content as can be. Hey, if you want to sleep there, it's fine by me!

Halloween
Anxiously awaiting the trick or treaters...
Princess sisters
Barbie and Cinderella!

Elmo (Graham Van Faasen) and Cinde
We had an amazingly fun day on friday with all the Halloween activities. The girls loved wearing their frilly, ruffly Princess dresses. Beatrice was Lianna from Barbie Diamond Castle and Sylvie was Cinderella (a costume she had gotten from Auntie Laura for her birthday). They both got way too much candy!

Nadia Komenechi
Beatrice LOVES gymnastics! I was surprised when she said she wanted to take gymnastics again over ballet lessons. Fine with me since gymnastics are only $35 through Zeeland Rec.! She had such a great time running the obstacle course to the song, "Lollipop", and wearing her cute, pink leotard. Next she said she wants to take art classes...we'll see!
GR Marathon
What a beautiful crisp Fall day for the GR Marathon! Uncle Colin and Haans ran together on Sunday, Oct.16, 2008, attempting to qualify for Boston. Unfortunately, Uncle Colin's legs cramped up around mile 20 and the boys had to walk quite a bit of the last 6 miles. Ironically the same cramping happened to Haans when he ran Boston last year! So Haans knew exactly what pain Colin was suffering! We had a great time despite and what a miracle to even say that you finished a marathon- way to go Daddy and Uncle Scratchy!!

Pumpkin Pickin'
Haans thought Post's Family Farm wouldn't be busy today since we've had SO many nice weekends weather-wise so far this Fall, ha! We had to park on the other side of the road (never even knew they had parking over on that side!). It actually didn't seem too bad once we started in on all the fun.
We meet the Robbins there (an annual tradition!) And enjoyed our hayride out to the pumpkin patch to purchase this year's craving pumpkin. The girls LOVED it- along with riding the pumpkin train, playing on the zipline & horse swings, feeding the goats and pony, and of course, eating those delicious glazed donuts!!
